Stormwater Permitting & Pollution Prevention Plans
DATE: Not currently scheduled, available for onsite training. Please email us or call for details.
Contaminated stormwater run-off from non-point sources in industry, construction sites, municipalities and agriculture continue to contribute to our nation’s water quality problems. This
1/2 day seminar serves to cover the stormwater regulations that have impacted a vast array of facilities. The elements required for a stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) will be discussed and a mock
PPP will be presented. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of best management practices, good housekeeping and spill response. The seminar will cover stormwater characterization and how to determine
sampling requirements. The instructor will also offer tips for training employees in-house who are involved with material handling and other activities that could impact the facility’s storm water
run-off. Presenter: Carol Brozosky, CHMM. .3 CEU
