OSHA-Required Respiratory Protection Program Administrator Proficiency Course (29 CFR 1910.134)
March 2 & 3, 2000, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm first day, 8:00 am – 12:00 noon second day.

OSHA requires that facilities assign a Program Administrator to manage their respiratory protection program and that they must demonstrate competence through training & experience.
This course provides the first step toward competency. Learn to develop a written respirator protection program, select respirators, evaluate worker exposure & protection factors, approaches for developing a cartridge change-out schedule for air purifying respirators (APR), maintain & care for APR. Hands-on demonstration of the new fit-testing methods.
