Presented by New Jersey State Fire College
To help your department meet its training needs, the New Jersey State Fire College offers the
convenience and cost savings of on-site training at your facility. Our instructional staff will prepare 3-hour lectures and 8-hour courses on topics specific to your needs for presentation at your monthly drills.

Training Package 1 - Hose! Hose! Hose!!!
This basics of engine company operations package includes presentation of four (4) 3-hour lectures.
Fee: $2200-Includes text-handout material and certificates of participation.
Module A
Hosebeds & Stretches... Flat, Triple, Minuteman Loads. Dead Beds & Hose Reels. The Pros & Cons of Each
Technique & Method will be Discussed along with Practical Demos & an Analysis to assist your Dept. to Achieve Maximum Hosebed Efficiency.
Module B
Hose Advancement... This Module Includes
Lecture & Practical demonstrations & Focuses on Hoseline Advancement. It will discuss developing Teamwork necessary for Hoseline Advancement & Techniques for Moving Lines Up & Around Stairs &
Corners.
Module C
Fire Hydrant Evolutions... Forward, Reverse, Split Lays. The Pros & Cons of each Method will be discussed along with an Analysis of your Dept.'s Hydrant Evolutions and how to
Achieve Maximum Supply Line Deployment Efficiency.
Module D
Fire Attack Evaluation... Handline, Master Stream & Automatic Sprinkler Supply will be discussed. The Practical Exercise will consist of
Performing the Evolutions of the Previous Modules while being Evaluated According to NFPA 1040.
