NJ Hazardous Waste Management – A Generator’s Guide to Compliance

This program is geared to the generator of hazardous waste and the requirements a facility must meet to comply with generator rules. Many of the standards for NJ generators have changed, including requirements for container & accumulation time limits. The NJ waste code hierarchy and manifesting system remain intact. Course covers introduction to RCRA & EPA regulatory format, review of definitions, identification & listing of hazardous wastes, land disposal prohibitions, accumulation & storage requirements, container & tank storage, contingency planning & personnel training, manifesting requirements, interaction with DOT rules. Presenter: David See. .6 CEU
