proportioning devices are needed and can you use non-aspirating nozzles with your foam concentrate? How does the new oxygenated fuel additives change the rules of standard foam firefighing practices? These questions
and more will be answered in this most important symposium.
This 3-day course is designed for both municipal and industrial firefighters and will address flammable liquid incidents in industrial complexes,
transportation, bulk storage and maritime facilities. Topics include: basic flammable liquid concepts, foam history, types/uses, application rates, portable proportioning, large gallonage systems, handline &
monitor delivery devices and fixed foam systems. Students will participate in problem solving workshop scenarios of actual incidents, demonstrations and fire simulation exercises using the incident command system.
