Firefighter Safety - Electrical Firefighting

This 8-hour classroom and hands-on course will provide practical information on firefighter safety concerns while operating near energized electrical equipment. Subjects include electricity's effects on the body through extinguishing methods, approach distances, car-pole accidents, wire down situations, pole transformer, manhole fires and electrical disconnect procedures. Fully approved protective clothing required.
