General Industry & Construction

Fee: $235 for Council subscribers/NSC members; $285 for nonsubscribers/nonmembers includes continental breakfast, course materials, certificate. Lunch is on your own.

Topics will include: introduction to 1910 General Industry and 1926 Subpart M and comparison between OSHA General Industry and Construction Standards requirements, job planning, hazard identification, competent person vs. qualified person, contractor and subcontractor responsibilities, fall protection systems, physics of falls, personal fall arrest systems, selection and limits. Includes demonstrations with personal fall arrest system equipment. This course meets the training requirements for Competent Person in Fall Protection. Presenter: Joann West, MPH, WSO-CSM. .6 CEU
