The cost of just one fire apparatus traffic accident can
be devastating in terms of dollars and member emotional stress. CEVO II - Fire has been completely revised to address the ever changing situations facing fire apparatus operators. This 6-hour train-the-trainer
course will address how to teach operators practical defensive driving techniques and prevent collisions in both emergency and non-emergency situations. Topics covered include: driving in adverce weather, handling
intersections, traffic hazard identification, policy regarding traffic light and the effects of adrenaline flow. Participants will receive a CEVO II - Fire scripted Instructor's manual.
